    This Turmeric Smoothie is amazingly delicious and refreshing with lots of vitamin and nutrient-packed ingredients that are natural immune boosters!

    An anti-inflammatory drink that is great for fighting colds!  Vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and Paleo!

    A perfect healthy breakfast smoothie to kick-start your mornings! Kid-friendly!

    How To Make A Turmeric Smoothie:

    Step 1 – Gather and measure the ingredients.  Use fresh or frozen fruit, peel, and cut a small piece of ginger.  You can use fresh or ground turmeric.

    Can You Put Turmeric In A Smoothie?

    Yes! You can use fresh or ground turmeric in a smoothie.

    Step 2 – Place all ingredients into a blender.

    Turmeric Smoothie Ingredients:

    • Naturally sweet
    • Energy boosting
    • Anti-inflammatory
    • Vitamin and nutrient-packed
    • Great source of vitamin C
    • Gorgeous color
    • Easy to prepare
    • Turmeric – Powerful anti-inflammatory qualities due to the compound curcumin.
    • Ginger – Anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory qualities

    Step 3 – Blend for a few minutes until ingredients are combined and smooth and creamy.  If too thick, add a bit more liquid.  If too thin, add a few ice cubes or a few more pieces of frozen fruit.

    Pour into a glass and enjoy.

    Tips and Substitutions For This Turmeric Pineapple Smoothie:

    • For additional nutrients, add some berries to this smoothie.
    • Turmeric smoothie with almond milk; you could substitute another non-dairy milk.
    • If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more liquid (water or dairy-free milk).  If the smoothie is too thin, add more frozen fruits or ice.
    • Throw in some fresh or frozen spinach (or other greens) for added veggies.
    • Add some honey or maple syrup if the smoothie is not sweet enough for you.
    • Try adding a pinch of ground black pepper as it is reported to increase turmeric/curcumin’s effectiveness. (Source)

    • 1 banana
    • 1/2 cup mango chunks ( I use frozen)
    • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (I use frozen)
    • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
    • 1 piece ginger
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric (can sub a small piece of fresh turmeric)
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    Instructions
    1. Gather, measure ingredients and place in blender.
