It’s been quite an adventure transforming my diet to mostly gluten, and dairy-free (some grain-free). My food and lifestyle journey started in early 2014 when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
Initially, I was offered a bucket of medication but chose to search for an alternative. With the guidance of my health care professionals, I made several changes to my life, with diet being a very important key change.
Several years later, I am very happy I made that choice. My life has resumed to what it was before my “flare” and diagnosis.
As a result, all my recipes here (after 2014) are mostly gluten, and dairy-free (some grain-free). Many are Paleo, Whole30 and vegan as well. You do not need to follow this diet to be able to cook or enjoy them, they are suitable for everyone and absolutely delicious!
Please note that there are some traditional recipes as that is what my family mostly prefers!
Paleo and whole 30 recipes
In my family, we all eat our preferences, and as luck would have it, many of my recipes are so good, everyone loves them. Have you tried the Vegan Cream Cheese, Coconut Flour Banana Muffins, Paleo Chocolate Cake, Herb Roasted Turkey Breast or Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie?
Your family may be different, but in mine, not everyone eats the same sorts of foods, so I understand that challenge well. However, one of the deciding factors for recipes I post is that it is loved by all.
