Dragon fruit, also known as pitaya, and strawberry pear is a tropical fruit native to Central America and South America with a vibrant color, either bright pink flesh or white flesh. It is an exotic fruit and there are different varieties.

Dragon fruit can be found in the frozen section of your grocery store (dragon fruit puree) or the fresh fruit section (fresh pitaya).
This pitaya smoothie is a delicious tropical smoothie with tropical flavors, simple ingredients, and a bright magenta color but still has a mild taste. Add fresh fruit or frozen fruit and enjoy the creamy texture. It is easily found in the frozen section of grocery stores.
