Ingredients for champagne sangria:
- Red wine such as cabernet sauvignon
- Champagne
- Lemon slices
- Apple slices
- Orange slices
- Orange juice
- Ice
- Garnishes (see recipe card for list)
How to make sangria:
- Gather and measure the ingredients.
- Pour the wine into a large pitcher.
- Add the orange juice, apple, lemon, and orange slices.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria wine to fill each glass about 3/4 full.
- Top the sangria with champagne.
- Garnish with herbs and spices.
Recipe Tips:
- The longer the sangria is refrigerated the fruitier it becomes. Infuse for at least three hours.
- Serve at the holidays for a festive Christmas sangria.
- You could add a bit of sugar or honey if more sweetener is needed.

- Stick to a 1:1 ratio of champagne to wine.
