How do you make this homemade lemonade recipe? It’s easy, delicious and so refreshing. Let’s roll up our sleeves and squeeze some lemons!
How To Make Lemonade With Lemon Juice:
We have been having some great Indian summer days here in the Northeast. As a result, I have been craving my favorite lemonade. I basically stopped drinking lemonade for quite a while because of all the sugar necessary to make it tasty. My version is sugar-free and I love the way it tastes!
This summer I decided to experiment and make a very simple lemonade recipe. I was looking for something that I could make any time and was quick and easy. As we know, lemons are very tart, so a sweetener is needed. The sweetener that I found really worked well was Stevia.
So, even though the leaves are dropping left and right and New England is right about the peak for foliage, I am finding this lemonade perfectly refreshing sitting outside in the afternoon sunshine.
I am glad lemonade is back in my life! It is just one of those things I missed having on a lazy, hot afternoon.
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 1 cups and 1/2 of water
- about 5-6 ice cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon Stevia I used NuNaturals powdered, use more or less to your desired taste
-
Place all the ingredients in a large glass or jar.
-
Add a straw and stir the ingredients until well combined.
-
Enjoy!
