Recipe Notes

Tips and Recommendations:

  • Make a large batch and store in a glass container with a lid. (Will last about 6 months).
  • Save empty spice jars when making your own spices, like this homemade gluten-free baking powder.
  • If adding fresh diced onions to your recipe, omit the onion powder.
  • Tweak this combination to your tastes.  Omit the cayenne pepper if too spicy, or add more if you like very hot and spicy!
  • Always check the labels of the spices you purchase to make sure they are gluten-free and no additives.
  • Makes a great fajita seasoning!
  • For sodium-free, omit the salt.
  • Adds a nice kick to casseroles, chili, tacos, southwest, and Mexican recipes.
  • Gift idea for your gluten-free friends; just place in a glass bottle with a pretty label and decorative ribbon!
