  • 1 banana, frozen, cut in chunks (about 1/2 to 3/4 cup)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk (I use refrigerated, not canned coconut milk)
  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for several minutes until completely mixed. Garnish with pineapple pieces.

Recipe Notes

Smoothie tips:

  • Use a high-speed blender, but a regular blender will also work.
  • Add more coconut milk (or milk), or water if the smoothie is too thick.
  • In a pinch, you can substitute water for the milk or substitute different milk.
  • Use frozen fruit to get a creamy smooth consistency.
  • Buy bags of frozen fruit at the grocery store or cut up and freeze your own.
  • The recipe can be doubled to make two smoothies.
