Remove the banana from the freezer.
Cut the frozen bananas into coin-sized pieces. Some people cut the banana into coin-sized pieces BEFORE freezing. That's an option too.
Place the banana pieces in a small food processor and blend until the banana goes from small chunks to smooth like soft-serve ice cream. This may take several minutes.
Add the almond butter and process again until incorporated.
Last, add the chocolate chips and mix with a spoon until well incorporated.
Serve immediately or store in the freezer for later.
