Ingredients

  • 1 pound One ground turkey (I like using dark ground thigh meat)
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil - for skillet

Instructions

  1. Place the olive oil in a skillet and heat on medium-low.
  2. Place all remaining ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and mix together.
  3. Form round patties with your hands. I usually make between 8-12 depending on size.
  4. Place patties in the skillet and cook and brown on both sides, usually 6-8 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer patties to a plate lined with a paper towel to drain extra grease.

Recipe Notes

*When not on Whole30, can add one tablespoon of maple syrup for a sweeter sausage.
