Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados, halved, pit removed
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 clove garlic minced (use two if like a lot of garlic)
  • 1/4 onion, chopped very finely (use up to 1/2 a small onion if like more onion)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced (use more if like it hot)
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (taste and add more if needed)

Instructions

  1. Place the avocado flesh in a bowl and mash until desired texture.  I like mine a little chunky.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Best consumed right away, but can put in refrigerator for later use.

  4. garnish with sliced limes, cilantro.  Great served with grain-free tortilla chips, sliced veggies or served with chili, tacos, etc...

Recipe Notes

May add several dashes of hot red pepper sauce to taste.
